Ah well, took an easy start, slowed down because I didn't want to take any risks. So I ran a bit wide (pit entry) and suddenly I got stuck on 2 pieces of tarmac that apparently have a different height. Took me 40 seconds to get of, but the engine was overheated and by the time I reached T1 is simply blew up. Nice start.

"It was nice to see Tyrrell, Lotus, Renault, Ferrari, Ligier, Williams and Brabham cars all on one starting grid, and 23 cars in total. But I had hoped there would be more original car choices, it was a nice field but with the Brabham BT48 you won't become a frontrunner. What I remember from the race: I started at the back of the field, had a clean start and made up some places. Then lost some again when I got stuck on the curb at T2, (thank you to the people who avoided me.) Lap after lap I gained spots again when people started to make mistakes. Most of the people I could have raced against had quit after 10-15 laps. Around lap 20 of the 62 I spun at the hairpin when trying to keep up with Zeemering's Lotus. Got stuck, overheated the engine and damaged my front wing. Apparantly that wasn't the only damage, after half a lap I got a damaged LF tire and also my front and rear left suspension got damaged, very weird. So I spun and had to crawl to the pits to fix my tire, thinking about quitting or not. The stop took a while, almost killed my engine but I got going again and still wasn't last. I managed to finish with the broken suspension, making errors and being about 2 secs slower per lap than normal. The last part of the race was just about surviving, and getting lapped a bit boring. I hope I didn't bother anyone when they lapped me, I had to pay as much attention to my suspension as to my mirrors. When I compare this to my normal races it was terrible. But without all those troubles I could have fought for 6th in stead of 7th now with the BT48, no big difference. All things considered the race was fun. "
