't verschil is gewoon TE groot...

Meer nieuws op Virtualr.net "Codemasters has released a bunch of new scan-shots, showing scanned point cloud data from Spa Francorchamps that will be used to model the virtual version of the track. Parts shown include the start/finish straight, the famous La Source corner and the run down to Eau Rouge. The shots are just meant to give interested fans a little preview and don’t show the full scanning resolution as every centimeter of each track on the 2009 F1 schedule is scanned according to Codemasters, hopefully resulting in very accurate tracks. F1 2009 is the first official Formula One title to be made by Codemasters of Race Driver and Colin McRae Rally fame. Unlike previous license holder Sony, Codemasters will be releasing their title for a variety of platforms including the PC, the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360."

Officele post van Codemasters op hun forum: Right, I haven’t read every post in this thread, but I get the jist and just to stop you all from panicking too much… GRID and DiRT are aimed at an arcade audience and they do that very well. F1 has different requirements and will get a completely different treatment from our in-house team, including full on sim options, physics, rules and regs etc. We will also have arcade requirements catered for as well. How this will be split we do not know yet, but split it will be.
