Ik zal het proberen zo makkelijk mogelijk uit te leggen..
je coureur heeft een bepaalde happy range (het gebied waartussen hij tevreden is met de setup)
De happy range van mijn coureur is ongeveer 80, deze zal ik even in ut voorbeeld gebruiken.. (als jou coureur een TI heeft van rond 125, zal dat bij jou ongeveer hetzelfde zijn denk ik.)
Voorbeeld:
de 1e trainingsessie maak je gewoon een setup die jij denkt dat goed is.. Je krijgt dan de volgende opmerkingen van je coureur:
Wings
3 I am really missing a lot of speed in straights
2 The car is lacking some speed in the straights
1 The car could have a bit more speed in the straights
-1 I am missing a bit of grip in the curves
-2 The car is very unstable in many corners
-3 I cannot drive the car, there's no grip on it
Engine
3 No, no, no!!! Favor a lot more the low revs!
2 The engine revs are too high
1 Try to favor a bit more the low revs
-1 I feel that I do not have enough engine power in the straights
-2 The engine power on the straights is not sufficient
-3 You should try to favor a lot more the high revs
Brakes
2 I think the brakes effectiveness could be higher if we move the balance to the back
1 Put the balance a bit more to the back
-1 I would like to have the balance a bit more to the front
-2 I think the brakes effectiveness could be higher if we move the balance to the front
-3 I would feel a lot more comfortable to move the balance to the front
Gear
2 The gear ratio is too high (?)
1 I cannot take advantage of the power of the engine. Put the gear ratio a bit lower
-1 I am very often in the red. Put the gear ratio a bit higher
-2 The gear ratio is too low
-3 It feels like the engine is going to explode. Put a lot higher ratio between gears
Susp
2 The suspension rigidity is too high
1 The car is too rigid. Lower a bit the rigidity
-1 I think with a bit more rigid suspension I will be able to go faster
-2 The suspension rigidity is too low
-3 The suspension rigidity should be a lot higher
3= -256
2= -128
1= -64
-1= +64
-2= +128
-3= +256
Stel je hebt je wings de 1e sessie op 500 staan en krijgt deze opmerking:
2 The car is lacking some speed in the straights
Je krijgt dan 500-128= 372..
Dan kijk je weer bij de opmerking is ie nu wel tevreden doe je 372+64, nog steeds niet tevreden 372-64..
Stel hij is nu wel tevreden dus 372+64= 436..
Weer naar opmerkingen kijken.. is ie tevreden 436+32. niet tevreden 436-32.. daarna +/- 16, +/- 8 en +/- 4 afhankelijk van de opmerkingen die je krijgt..
Ik bereken meestal tot 4pt nauwkeurig.. stel je komt nu uit tussen 432 en 436 dit is dan de bovengrens van je happy range..
ik pak dan meestal het midden van die 2 getallen dus 434, mijn happy range is 80.. 80/2=40
Dan doe je 434-40= 394..
394 is dan ongeveer de perfecte setup voor je wings..
Je moet dus steeds naar een grens van je happy range zoeken en dan +/- de helft van je happy range..
Hoop dat je het nu iets beter snap en als er nog vrage zijn hoor ik ze wel..
